TOPIC # 15 DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PLANT AND ANIMAL CELL
AND
DIFFERENCE AMONG PROKARYOTIC AND EUKARYOTIC CELL
ANIMAL AND PLANT CELL:
These both cells are eukaryotic cells means have well defined Nucleus and membrane bounded organelles and these both cells are quite similar but also have difference among themselves.
DIFFERENCE
ANIMAL CELL PLANT CELL
1-It is Evolve from hetrotrophic prokaryote *It is evolve from photosynthetic prokaryote.
2-Absence of cell wall. *cell wall is present formed by golgi bodies.
3-It have no plastids. *It have plastids(chloroplasts, chromoplast and leucoplast)
4-Having lysosomes having hydrolytic activity. *Lysosomes is absent.
5-Having centrioles for support of cell. *Here Phragmoplast is present instead of centrioles formed by golgi bodies.
6-Cell have irregular shape because cell wall is absent. *Prominent shape because cell wall present.
7-Having many small vacoules. *Having only one large vacoules.
8-Having flagella is a specific cell *Here present only in germ cell.
9-The outer membrane is cell membrane. *The outer membrane is cell wall.
10-Having ribosomes both 70s and 80s. *It also have both 70s and 80s ribosomes.
SIMILARTIES
1-Both are eukaryotic cells.
2-Both have well defined Nucleus.
3-Both have mitochondria.
4-Both have cytoplasm.
5-Both have Golgi bodies.
6-Both have Endoplasmic reticulum.
7-Both have ribosomes.
8-Both have cell membrane.
9-Both have Golgi bodies.

PROKARYOTE AND EUKARYOTE CELL
PROKARYOTIC CELL EUKARYOTIC CELL
1-It is small having size 50 micrometer. *It is large having size about 100micro-1millimeter.
2-It is not well developed cell *It is well developed cell.
3-It have not well developed Nucleus *Having well defined Nucleus.
4-Having No nuclear membrane. *Having nuclear Membrane.
5-Having cell wall made up of peptidoglycan. *Having cell wall made up of cellulose(plant) and chitin(Fungi).
6-Having cell membrane . *Having cell membrane made up of Protein and lipids.
7-Having Ribosomes 70s(Larger unit 50s and smaller unit 30s)
*Having ribsomes 80s(smaller unit 40s and larger unit 80s).
